Commentary
(Summary blog only. Last full blog was Day 0368).
Continued the steady progress with another quiet day staying mostly inside to keep out of the rain and snow and generally unpleasant conditions outside. Val continued her excellent catering and it’s doing wonders as I feel a bit stronger every day.
The hip seems to be healing well – at least I assume it must be because I have the beginnings of a massive bruise developing, which I take as a hopeful sign that something positive is happening inside my leg.
After a late breakfast, we went for a short drive out into the country and walked down a flat and convenient gravel drive to a church a few hundred meters away. It was brilliant, despite the torrential rain. Then just as it was getting dark, we walked up to the town again and picked up a couple of croissants from a local bakery, which we will enjoy tomorrow morning.
Another relaxing evening with a bit of TV to look forward to (“The Trip” again, this time to Spain) and then an early night.
