Ireland day 0785. Wednesday 22 November 2023- Teams
Today’s summary Spent almost all day at work in the office, in meetings and on Teams video calls.   I still don’t like Teams but that’s probably because my account isn’t set up properly.   Short walk and some more “Succession” in the evening
Today’s weather Drizzly and overcast with longer periods of rain.   Moderate westerly wind.   Appx 11c

There isn’t that much to say about today, actually.   I headed off to the office reasonably early today, and spent much of it in meetings of various kinds.   Starting off with a long session on Teams (of the Microsoft sort) which was very useful and even the Teams technology (which I really don’t like) worked reasonably well.   But the face-to-face meetings I also had were much more enjoyable and, I think, more productive.

I drove back well after dark, and quickly remembered why train commuting is much less stressful than driving.   Busy narrow roads in the pitch dark with light drizzle really aren’t much fun.   Still, it’s all for a good cause.

This evening we’re going to have dinner, go on a short stroll round Hanlon’s Lane, and watch another episode of “Succession”.   It’s amazing just how much more monochrome your life is when you’re working!
