Ireland day 0608. Monday 29 May 2023- Stratford 2

Today’s summary	Took a walk round Stratford in the morning then went to a wedding in the afternoon
Today’s weather	Dry and bright with sun in the afternoon. Moderate north easterly wind. Appx 16C but feeling quite cool in the breeze

Commentary

(Summary blog only. Last full blog was Day 0368).

The wedding we’re attending isn’t until this afternoon. So we lingered over breakfast – a real treat – then took a wander round Stratford.

There was plenty of interest to see, and literally thousands of tourists packed in to see it. It was an enjoyable excursion though Stratford was looking a bit like it was in need of a good wash-and-brush-up, and I did find the masses of humanity a bit off-putting. Quite a contrast to the hills of Wicklow. Anyway, that’s enough for now as I need to stop and make myself look beautiful for the afternoon’s festivities. But a very enjoyable and relaxing start to the day so far.
