Ireland day 0835. Thursday 11 January 2024- And Again

Today’s summary	Mostly a day in the office, after a couple of admin duties in Malahide first thing.   Made a Kerrigans Special ready meal for dinner in the evening  then collected Val from the airport later on

Commentary

(Summary blog only.   Last full blog was Day 0368).

In yesterday’s blog I alluded to the common elements of my days at the moment: working, walking, cooking, TV-ing (and sleeping).

Well today featured most – but not all – of those elements.   First of all, before work, I had a couple of errands to do in Malahide – renewing the house contents insurance, and things like that.   Then I drove off to the office and spent the whole day there working on my presentation to the CEO on Monday.   Eventually, when I’d done as much as I thought I could, I pottered home in the Trusty Yaris.

Now I’m back in the flat, I’m cooking up another “Kerrigans’ special” ready meal (pictured in the banner image at the top), and I might just fit in a quick walk round the block before I head off to the airport to pick up Val after her recent trip to London.   I’m looking forward to having her back again though it will be a bit fleeting as her flight gets in quite late and then we are both back off to work again in the morning.

My office is right by the M50 so you can see straightaway from the overhead gantry whether or not it’s congested and so should be given a wide berth (usually it is and I usually do)
