Today was a very big day – one that we’d been looking forward to and working towards for over a year.   It was the celebration of James and Katie’s wedding at a beautiful venue in deepest Oxfordshire (the “official” legal ceremony was in Henley on Thursday).   The day started with the arrival of the groomsmen at about 9:30 and didn’t finish until we finally crashed out in our bed-and-breakfast at 1:45am the next day.

It was a much-anticipated event and it all worked out beautifully.   We were delighted to see James and Katie so happily married and it was wonderful to have so many happy people at the event.   A really perfect day and to top it all off, the rain stopped just before lunchtime, meaning that the service itself could be held outdoors in the sunshine.

Welcome to the Dawson family, Katie!
