Ireland day 0733. Sunday 01 October 2023- Clearing day 1

Today’s summary	Some of the family came over and we spent the day clearing the house.  The loft, garage and shed are the hardest parts.   Made significant headway.   Went out for dinner afterwards – good food, but haphazard service

Commentary

(Summary blog only.   Last full blog was Day 0368).

Our first full day of house-clearing today.   It was very hard work, both physically and emotionally, but greatly assisted by the arrival of our son and his wife who helped us to decide what we needed to keep and what could go.

We worked for 12 hours pretty much solid, but we eventually downed tools at 7pm and went out for dinner.   A good meal but the service was a bit haphazard

Anyway, as much of the time we spent either in the garage or shed, or up in the loft, I feel pretty grimy and sweaty now so I’m going to sign off, get a shower and head off for an early night!
