Commentary
(Summary blog only. Last full blog was Day 0368).
Just a quick blog as the electricity has gone off in our AirBnB(!) so am having to “borrow” a neighbour’s wifi.
We spent the morning at the Glebe House and Gallery – a home to the late artist Derek Hill. It’s run by the OPW and, it seems, like everything they turn their hands to, it’s great. Lovely house (excellent guided tour courtesy of Kevin) and serene gardens. Even though it rained, the OPW umbrellas kept us dry!
Then in the afternoon, we drove back to Falcarragh to walk a short stretch of the Burtonport Old Railway Walk as far as Lough Agher. Spectacular scenery round the back of Slieve Muckish. A few horseflies but not enough to detract from the enjoyment. Another superb day in beautiful Donegal
