We slipped back into our normal routine today – Val went to work at the museum, and I went to the gym for the rest of the morning.

After I got back, I made lunch then spent a couple of hours practicing Spanish in preparation for the return of classes down at Portmarnock this evening.  It’s amazing how quickly you forget!

After a bit of shopping later in the afternoon, I got some of the Lough Avalla beef casserole that I made last week,  ready for dinner tonight when I get back from nightschool at about 9:30.

Tea is a big thing in Ireland and Barry’s Gold is supposed to be the country’s favourite.   We are working our way through the various different blends to see which we prefer.   To be honest, I don’t think my palate is sensitive enough to tell the difference between any of them but we will see.   It’s Barry’s “original” variety next.
