Ireland day 0384. Monday 17 October 2022- Killarney DWC 1
Today’s summary Drove down to Killarney to join the Walking Club for a short break at the Castlerosse Hotel.   Some parts of the journey were familiar from our last visit in 2009
Today’s weather Stormy to start with, but sunny and dry.   Wind dropped almost completely by the time we arrived at Killarney.   Strong to gale force southwesterly wind to start with, dropping off by evening.   About 14C.

Commentary

(Summary blog only.   Last full blog was Day 0368).

Drove down to Killarney Castlerosse Hotel for a couple of days away with the DWC.  Straightforward drive – took about 4½ hours.

Stopped off at the Obama Plaza service station near Limerick midway.

Early dinner at 6:15pm.   Some familiar spots along the route from our last drive down here – family camping holiday in 2009
