Ireland day 0560. Tuesday 11 April 2023- Rain Rain Rain

Today’s summary	A wet day, and quite quiet.  Worked on tax in the morning then had a video consultation with my physiotherapist.   Later in the afternoon we went to Clare Hall Tesco and in the evening Val went to a Malahide Historical Society lecture
Today’s weather	Heavy rain most of the day, only clearing later in the evening.   Strong to gale force westerly wind.   Feeling cold at appx 7C

Commentary

(Summary blog only.   Last full blog was Day 0368).

The last few days have been cold and wet, and today was probably the coldest and wettest of the lot.   Fortunately we didn’t have any major expeditions planned today, so we used the time to catch up on chores and do some shopping.

First though I had a video session with my physiotherapist, who seemed generally pleased with my progress and has given me a load more new exercises to do.

Once that was finished, I did some more tax-related paperwork then we had a light lunch and drove off to Clare Hall to do the main weekly shopping.   As usual we bought more than we had expected so it was good that we had the car to bring it all home again afterwards.

In the evening, we had the remaining Thai curry for dinner and Val went off to a lecture at Malahide Historical Society while I sorted out the laundry.   A relatively quiet day, for once.  Ideal for a wet Tuesday.

In Clare Hall shopping centre.   It’s just a place, really – nothing in particular to commend it, nothing wrong with it either.   I quite like the Tesco now it’s been re-done – once you can work out where everything is.
The physio has told me I need to do some exercises using a ball – this was the best we could find at Tesco – but at least I do get a free bucket and spade!
