(Summary blog only.   Last full blog was Day 0368).

Awoken early by the arrival of the engineer who came to rectify the faults with the flat which were discovered in the inspection a few weeks ago.  Installed a new carbon monoxide alarm (to add to the eleven other alarms – including CO) that we already have, and added window restrictors to stop ourselves throwing ourselves out.   Also changed some broken light bulbs.

Then went to the gym and had a good video chat with a friend in Houston after lunch once I got back.

Spent the rest of the afternoon batch cooking a load of piselli e pancetta for the freezer.

H2 bus about to set off from James’ terrace to Dublin.   A fantastic ride – my favourite!
Malahide tennis club.   Big controversy at the moment as the club wants to erect an all-weather dome over some of the outdoor courts but local residents are objecting on the grounds that it will look hideous and spoil the view of the sea.   They do rather have a point.
