One of my friends cycled round to see me this morning then in the afternoon we set off to make the return journey to Ireland.

We’ve decided to break the journey in North Wales, so as to make gaining the 2:45pm ferry from Holyhead tomorrow more manageable, so tonight are holed up in the Premier Inn in Rhuddlan.   Val heroically drove the whole way, and it went straightforwardly apart from a heavy snowfall near Birmingham.

A delicious (?!) dinner at the nearby pub and then an early night tonight.   What’s not to like?
