(Summary blog only.   Last full blog was Day 0368).

A relatively quiet day today.   Val was at work in the afternoon and went on a run in the morning.   I spent the time while she was out on a video call with a friend back in the UK.   It was particularly enjoyable, as his life has much in common with mine at the moment.

After a quick lunch, Val set off for an afternoon at the museum and I headed down to the gym to add a bit of distance to the Morocco challenge total.   I feel a bit inadequate as I am only managing about 10km a day (through a combination of static bike, cross-trainer, rowing machine, swimming and walking) whereas another member of the team did a cool 100km on the exercise bike yesterday.   Still, every little helps I suppose.

Then in the evening, I decided to make some more bread – again it’s a packet and this time it was a crusty wholemeal loaf.   Or so the packet says.   Today I decided not to add any extra flour when kneading it, as the previous loaves have been a bit dry and floury, presumably as a result of the extra flour I added to help it all stick together.   So today the mix was a bit sloppy but hopefully it should bake a bit better.   I’ll know in a couple of hours and will report back tomorrow.

Downtown Malahide today, looking quite bright and cheerful in the February sunshine Townyard Lane looking towards the Marina.   I definitely need a better telephoto lens!
I’m in team Kamilla.   Almost a third of the way there!
