(Summary blog only.   Last full blog was Day 0368).

I last visited the Metals with the walking club just over a year ago, so it was nice to be back again.

Took the diesel train and then the Dart down to Dun Laoghaire to join the walk, which started off on the Metals then headed up through Dalkey quarry to Dalkey Hill and on to Killiney Hill, with the obelisk.   It’s a very attractive area of Dublin – but on account of its accessibility and proximity to the city, it tends to get quite busy.

Good weather, good views and good company made it a very enjoyable day out.   Got a Dart straight back from Dalkey so was in Malahide less than an hour after the walk finished.

Val arrived in Austria this morning and it’s raining!
