Ireland day 0425. Sunday 27 November 2022- DWC AGM
Today’s summary Val was busy all day working at Museum and Wonderlights.   I went on a walk round the demesne then got a lift from a friend in the afternoon to the DWC AGM at the Croke Park Hotel.   A good meeting and a good walks programme in store for next year
Today’s weather Mostly bright with some sun but a heavy downpour in the morning when i was out on my walk.   Moderate southwesterly wind.   About 11C

Commentary

(Summary blog only.   Last full blog was Day 0368).

Val was doing another double shift today so after breakfast I walked round the demesne and then on to the shops to get provisions for the next few days (forgot to take phone so no photos).

Then in the afternoon, it was the AGM of the Dublin Walking Club at the Croke Park Hotel.   I’ve never been to Croke park before so it was quite interesting.   Got a lift there and back from my friend in Portmarnock.   A good meeting and a good turnout.

Looks like an active programme is in store already for 2023, which is excellent news.

Another November rose.   This one in the grounds of the Casino Courtyard in the middle of the Croke Park hotel.   It’s quite big and up market, with an unsurprisingly sporty theme
The entrance to the Castle demesne, the starting point for many of our local walks.   it’s right opposite where we live
