First full day of recuperation out of hospital.

Yesterday, by the evening, I felt really rough but I managed to get a decent nights sleep in a comfortable bed without buzzers and bleepers going off every two minutes, and nurses continually coming in to give me medicines and take my blood pressure.   So I woke up today feeling a lot better than yesterday.

Val’s been looking after me brilliantly too, so we have eaten well and taken it easy.   I managed a couple of short walks to the end of the road and back and spent quite a lot of time doing my Spanish homework (which our teacher has been kind enough to email to me).   I also re-taxed the trusty Yaris for another year and so now all I need to organise is the NCT test and a service.   Had a couple of local visitors too, which was really nice.

Going to watch “The Trip” visiting Italy tonight.  One of my favourite light-hearted TV series.
