(Summary blog only.   Last full blog was Day 0368).

I have joined a team challenge at the gym to walk / cycle / swim / run (virtually) to Morocco.   It’s about 3000km from Malahide and through static biking, rowing machine-ing, cross-training and swimming down at the gym this morning, I contributed 10159m.   Well, every little helps, as they say.

Then for the rest of the afternoon, while Val was at work, I spent a few happy hours trying to tax, insure and NCT the car – and failed for various reasons on all three.   Sigh.   Anyway I have another three weeks to do it before they all run out and I’ll keep battling.   It would be so much easier if you could just go into an office to do it, rather than fighting with unresponsive online systems all the time.   Still, I had a nice hour chat with a friend in Texas, which brought a little levity to the afternoon.

And then an evening down at the community school for Spanish – it was hard work tonight, but I enjoyed it.   The more you put in, them more you get out, they say, and never truer than when trying to learn a language.

The Spanish file is becoming voluminous
First daffodils I’ve seen this spring.   Hooray!   Outside the Grand Hotel
