Commentary
(Summary blog only. Last full blog was Day 0368).
Val had a day off the museum and not working up at the castle till 3:30. So we had a leisurely morning enjoyably working on our tax. Val did some shopping then headed off to work after a late lunch (salmon).
While she was out at work I walked down to Clare Hall shopping centre to get the week’s groceries from Tesco. A pleasant walk through the demesne but a bit tedious on the pavement alongside the busy R107. St Doulough’s church (the one with the stone roof) was the scenic highlight. Really annoying to discover Tesco don’t seem to sell oatcakes anymore (except expensive gluten-free ones) nor skimmed milk. Very odd.
Caught the bus back and continued to work on tax in the evening.
