Ireland day 0443. Thursday 15 December 2022- Dentist6 and Gym

Today’s summary	Val had a full day of work at the museum and the castle so I was left to my own devices. Went to the dentist for more root canal treatment which hopefully will work(!). then to the gym in the afternoon and some stargazing in the evening. Made Lough Avalla burgers for dinner for the 2 of us in between Val’s work shifts.
Today’s weather	Cold dry and bright with sun most of the day. Light north westerly wind. Appx 1C

Commentary

(Summary blog only. Last full blog was Day 0368).

Had to go back to the dentist again this morning for the sixth time in as many weeks. This time it was for part 2 of root canal treatment Took over an hour 🙁 The dentist said my tooth had “unusual” anatomy so he wasn’t certain it would work. I sincerely hope that it does as if it doesn’t it could mean an implant at massive expense.

Went to the gym afterwards to help wear off the anaesthetic. Val was working at the museum in the morning and castle in the evening so I made burgers with cheese in a bun for a quick dinner between her two shifts (Lough Avalla beef again – and excellent).

Quick walk round the marina in the evening, and a bit of stargazing.

Still a bit of snow around on the path from the flat up to the shops	Compared to northern Canada, I guess these Brent geese chose the warmer option. Still pretty chilly though at sunset this afternoon (around 4pm)

Ice on the foreshore was curiously submerged by the rising tide and remained frozen under the layer of seawater
