(Summary blog only.   Last full blog was Day 0368).

Had to go to the dentists (for the fifth time in as many weeks) at 9 this morning for first stage of root canal treatment on a dodgy tooth.   Not pleasant but only took half an hour.  Back next week to finish the job off, hopefully.

Then after a belated breakfast, had a video call with a friend in London and afterwards joined a discussion videoconference with a group of former colleagues from the Natural History Museum in London to discuss the ethics of crowd-sourced research.

Val was working at the museum in the morning then at the castle in the evening so we grabbed a quick dinner in the half hour she visited home between her work commitments.

Spent the evening while she was out, on the phone to another friend, this time in Glasgow.   All in all a very enjoyable day, despite the inauspicious start.

Today’s photos (click to enlarge)

That’s highly unlikely, I’m afraid
4C and sunshine hardly counts as severe weather in my view, but then again I think that’s still colder than it was all last winter.
