(Summary blog only.   Last full blog was Day 0368).

Val had a day off both the museum and the castle so while she was out on a run in the morning, I finished off the Christmas cards.

The afternoon was spent cleaning and tidying the flat then in the evening we drove into central Dublin to join the Mountains on Stage film festival at the Odeon Point Square cinema.   Surprisingly easy to get there from Malahide – only just over 20 minutes drive.  Very convenient parking too but the cost of the tunnel and the parking made it an expensive evening out.   There were four films – the first two were poor, the second was take-it-or-leave-it, the third (“From Shade to Light, about climbing in the Grandes Jorasses), was excellent.

Overall a very worthwhile evening out

In the Point Square centre.   Not properly explored it, so need to go into Dublin one day and have a look to see what it offers beside the cinema and the car park Tonight’s venue
Tickets.   I think it was for one night only – but back again next April.
