Ireland day 0402. Friday 04 November 2022- Dentist Again

Ireland day 0402. Friday 04 November 2022- Dentist Again
Today’s summary Went for an enjoyable walk round the demesne in the morning with Val, admiring the flattened leaves squashed into the pavement like ancient cave-art as we walked over them.   Then for lunch had some of the chicken casserole I made yesterday.  Spent much of the afternoon back at the dentists having a sensitive tooth looked at.   Bad news is I will have to go back again to have some fillings 🙁   .   Val was working at Wonderlights in the evening and I spent the time catching up on Spanish homework from two weeks ago (it’s been half term – we are back next Tuesday).
Today’s weather Dry and bright with plenty of sun in the morning.   Strong north easterly wind.   Appx 12C.

Here we are, up in the playing fields before you get to the castle Boules or petanque pitch – one of the many facilities offered up in the demesne.   Actually I think that boules and petanque are essentially the same thing
A good place not to hang around, perhaps Hamilton’s Spindletree, Euonymus hamiltonianus, growing up in the castle demesne.   It must like the conditions here, as it’s one of the biggest spindletrees I’ve ever seen
Ta-da!  Val introduces Wonderlights – her latest working opportunity – up at the castle
