| Today’s summary | Spent the morning in the gym then most of the rest of the day cooking dinners for the freezer for Val to take with her when she’s working at WonderLights (which starts tonight – after a shift at the museum first!). Some cleaning and laundry and wanted to do my Spanish homework but lacked the energy. Short walk round Malahide in the evening to post some letters. Nice view of St Sylvesters church spire, brilliantly illuminated | ||||

| Southbound Enterprise train from Belfast heading through Malahide station to Dublin | As I suspected – the bridge repairs won’t be completed on time and are running (according to the latest update from Iarnród Éireann) three weeks late. I still don’t think they will be finished till Christmas. And now they have installed a generator which runs all night with a continuous penetrating throb |
