Ireland day 0381. Friday 14 October 2022- Quiet Day
| Today’s summary | Val back to work despite only getting back to the flat last night at 2 am. We actually slept OK on the Karrimats in the landing, despite the banging and drilling going on all night on the bridge outside. I went to the gym late in the morning (to get to the pool after the aquarobics finishes at 11:45) then after a late lunch, spent the afternoon doing Spanish homework. Helped Val make aubergine satay for dinner then went on a walk down Hanlon’s Lane in the evening. Sleeping in the landing again tonight. | ||||

| The railway bridge which has been undergoing renovation since last July. Latest projection from Iarnród Éireann is that the works will finish 6 November but personally I think it will be Christmas at the earliest. I sincerely hope I am wrong. | |
