Ireland day 0381. Friday 14 October 2022- Quiet Day

Today’s summary	Val back to work despite only getting back to the flat last night at 2 am.  We actually slept OK on the Karrimats in the landing, despite the banging and drilling going on all night on the bridge outside.   I went to the gym late in the morning (to get to the pool after the aquarobics finishes at 11:45) then after a late lunch, spent the afternoon doing Spanish homework.   Helped Val make aubergine satay for dinner then went on a walk down Hanlon’s Lane in the evening.   Sleeping in the landing again tonight.
Today’s weather	Lightly overcast with the occasional brief shower.   Light southerly wind.   About 13C

The railway bridge which has been undergoing renovation since last July.   Latest projection from Iarnród Éireann is that the works will finish 6 November but personally I think it will be Christmas at the earliest.   I sincerely hope I am wrong.
