Commentary
(Summary blog only. Last full blog was Day 0368).
Val was back to work this morning, so I decided to join a walking club exploration of Dublin. It was a bit different to our normal excursions which usually visit parks or countryside.
It turned out to be a really interesting tour round some of the slightly off-the-beaten-path parts of Dublin, many of which I hadn’t seen before. The excellent weather certainly helped to make the day even more enjoyable. Finished off with a quick drink in the Silver Penny before heading back to Malahide on the DART.
When I got back, I discovered Val had returned ahead of me and had miraculously managed to conjure up a chilli con carne (more Lough Avalla beef) which I’m about to go off and enjoy now.
An excellent day all round!
