Just a short blog today.
We have friends over from the UK at the moment, staying with us for two night. They were travelling down from Belfast this lunchtime, after tour of Ireland. We met up at the Newgrange visitor centre, from where we went on a tour of Knowth and the Newgrange monument itself. Even though we have been several times before, we always enjoy it and learn something new. Plus, the sun came out and the whole place looked vivid green.
Afterwards, we drove over to Ardcath for a quick drink at Bennet’s bar before returning to Malahide for chicken casserole and a long, good, catch up over dinner.
Signing off now, as we have a busy day coming up again tomorrow.
