Commentary
(Summary blog only. Last full blog was Day 0368).
Val was at work again so I walked down the coast to Sutton with our two guests.
En route we passed through the castle demesne, Paddy’s Hill, the Velvet Strand, Baldoyle, and Sutton beach. Caught the 102 back from Sutton.
The weather was magnificent – lots of bright sun and blue skies. We added on a loop round Sutton at the end to bring the total length up to 15km – making it my longest and probably most enjoyable post-operative walk to date. I took the trekking poles but didn’t really need them, except on some of the rockier sections of the beach.
A magnificent day out.
