Commentary
(Summary blog only. Last full blog was Day 0368).
Val was working in the evening but not during the day.
So we both spent the morning on video calls with friends then she did some baking (scones and flapjacks) and we went for a brief walk up Church Road.
After having eaten far too many scones and flapjacks, and noticing that my trousers seemed to be shrinking round my waist, I decided I needed to do something about it and lose a bit of flab.
, on the premise that what gets measured gets improved, this evening while Val was at work I walked over to “Homes and More”, a giant home appliances depot on the Airside retail park, to buy a set of bathroom scales. I decided on old fashioned mechanical ones because I am fed up with batteries forever running out.
So watch this space as I apply a new diet regime and transform myself into a sylph-like Apollo.
