Commentary
(Summary blog only. Last full blog was Day 0368).
Drove down to Laragh to recce the Brockagh / Tonelagee / St Kevins Way circuit which I did last June and which I am leading for DWC a week on Saturday.
Found it quite hard going with extensive bog, occasional heavy showers of bitterly cold rain, and gale force wind. But some sun made up for it. A bit slower than in June – and I didn’t add the short extension to the Lough Ouler overlook either this time.
Traffic heavy on the M50 both ways so over 90 mins to start and back to Malahide again at the end.
Val had a day off work and elected to stay behind and enjoy the delights of the Seamus Heaney exhibition and MoLI cafe in Dublin.
